Professional Structural Architect

We are currently looking for a Professional Structural Architect to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and coordinate structural engineering projects from initial feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover.

• Prepare, review and certify structural designs, calculations, drawings, technical specifications and tender documentation in accordance with applicable standards, statutory requirements and the responsibilities of a warranted professional.

• Carry out site inspections and technical assessments, and verify construction quality and compliance.

• Identify and resolve structural or site-related issues.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, design teams, regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders, while supporting planning applications, permits and other statutory approvals.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Be in possession of a warrant to practice as a Perit in Malta.

• Have a minimum of five (5) years' experience (following the warrant), as a structural engineer. More experience will be considered an asset.

• Strong knowledge of Maltese building regulations and construction practices.

• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Tekla.

• Has a valid driving license and personal transport.

• Proficient in the English language. Basic use of the Maltese language would be considered an asset.
