Delivery Helper

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are interested in starting their careers as Delivery Helpers to eventually obtain their driving licenses for Category C1 vehicles.

This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to gain practical experience in the logistics and delivery sector, develop customer service skills, and work as part of a dynamic team. Additionally, the company may sponsor your training to obtain a license C1.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure correct and thorough inspection of goods with the supervisor before dispatch.

• Sorting and preparing goods for loading, including wrapping pallets with plastic shrink film.

• Assist drivers in safely loading goods into vans and trucks, preventing any product damage.

• Delivering goods to clients' shops, stores, and warehouses according to the delivery document, following the company's health and safety regulations.

• Handle returns and refusals upon return to the warehouse.

• Clean van / truck in preparation for loading.

• Following cleaning procedures for the Warehouse loading bays and facilities after all loading is executed.

• Other duties, which may be assigned from time to time, are performed in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.

Education and Experience

• Min. school ending certificate.

• Certificate of good conduct.

• Previous material handling experience preferred.

• Due to the physical nature of tasks, one must be in good physical condition.

• Good command of the English language, Maltese language is considered an asset.
