Quality Control Senior Analyst

Natrix Sciences Ltd. is an EU GMP licensed CDMO which develops and manufactures oral solid dosage forms for the medicinal market. And her sister company ZenPharm, is an established medicinal cannabis manufacturing company, regulated by the laws of Malta and of the European Union. The company has the facilities to manufacture Medicinal Cannabis products and has seen tremendous operational growth in the past months.  

We are looking for individuals who are ready to jumpstart their career by immersing themselves in the traditional pharma and medicinal cannabis industries. Being a relatively small facility, we are ideally placed to provide new candidates with expansive exposure to a wide field of skills, techniques and experiences. We are looking for a team player in a small team of chemistry analysts with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a commitment to learn and develop within the company.  

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:  

Reporting to the QC Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:  

• Sampling and analysis of raw materials, packaging, works in progress, finished goods, and stability.  

• Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses using techniques such as  HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, dissolution and titration. 

• To ensure that the company’s laboratory complies fully with good laboratory practice, including laboratory upkeep and cleanliness.  

• To help with analytical validations and lab transfer analysis.  

• To perform any necessary analytical documentation review in accordance with cGLP in a timely manner.  

• To monitor environmental conditions in the laboratory.  

• To ensure GMP compliance as per local procedures and Eudralex Volume 4 GMP  guidelines.   

• To ensure that all safety and security regulations are abided by at all times.   

• To ensure full traceability and reconciliation of samples.  

• To monitor the analytical technique of other QC Analysts and guide them.  

Requirements:  

• In possession of a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Lab Science, or a related science subject. Candidates having a BTEC National Diploma in Applied Science will also be considered.  

• At least 2 years of work experience in a QC chemistry laboratory with a good understanding of analytical testing and equipment operation / troubleshooting; or an adequate combination of education and experience.  

• Good experience in the use of chromatographic equipment (HPLC, GC )  

• Good time management skills.  

• Good IT skills, e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).  

• Ability to work in a team.  

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing.

• In possession of an EU working VISA.
