Maintenance Handyperson

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Handyperson to join our team.

Duties and Responsibility:

• Perform basic maintenance work, including painting, minor carpentry, plumbing repairs, and basic electrical tasks.

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, water and air systems and back-of-house facilities.

• Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks, including filter changes, lubrication, and minor adjustments.

• Respond promptly and professionally to operations maintenance requests.

• Assist senior team members with more complex maintenance work and installations.

• Identify and report major faults, hazards, and safety concerns to the relevant supervisor.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean and organised condition.

• Follow established health, hygiene, safety, and security procedures.

• Support the Methode operation by ensuring facilities and equipment remain safe and functional.

• Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Practical knowledge of general repairs and maintenance work.

• Safely operate and maintain power tools and maintenance equipment.

• Fluency in English

• Good problem-solving and organisational skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and a professional approach when interacting with colleagues.

• Familiarity with relevant health and safety practices.

• Flexibility to work different shifts according to operational requirements.
