Machine Operator

About us

Medelec Switchgear Ltd, with over 49 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear, compact and mobile substations, control panels, low-voltage distribution boards, automatic transfer switches and automatic voltage regulators, is seeking to recruit Machine Operators.

Reporting directly to the Production Engineer, the selected candidates will be responsible for the operation of machinery related to metal fabrication, including punching, laser cutting, bending, turning, milling and powder painting.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines as per procedures and instructions.

• Measure and inspect components to the relevant drawings.

• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Experience in the operation of CNC machines.

• Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings. (Training will be provided.)

• Diligent, self-motivated and with good attention to detail.
