Job Responsibilities

• To collect balances due by credit clients

• Maintain good client relations through public relations and regular visits to clients’ establishments

• Achieve targets and objectives of Credit Management in a professional manner

• Liaise with Sales Managers and assist in the collection of loans in arrears

• Post all payment receipts into the Sales Ledger and perform matching of payment with invoices

• Prepare monthly statements and reminder letters sent to clients

• Issue letters to slow-paying clients and where this fails to produce results refer the clients to the Chief Financial Officer for further action

• Reconcile account balances with clients both at the company’s and client's offices

• Vet and validate requests for credit facilities by new or existing clients, approving those that are deemed appropriate
