Maintenance Lead

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Maintenance Lead to take care of the day-to-day maintenance of our growing portfolio of hotel properties.

This is a practical role for someone who enjoys getting things done. You will carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance, regularly check our properties to spot issues before they become problems, and help plan and prioritise maintenance work across the portfolio.

Working closely with our Director of Operations, Hotel Managers, other maintenance personnel and external contractors, you'll help make sure our rooms, common areas and facilities are safe, well maintained and looking their best.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across our hotel properties.

• Regularly inspect guest rooms, common areas and facilities and identify work that needs to be done.

• Carry out preventative maintenance and respond promptly to maintenance issues.

• Help plan and prioritise maintenance work across the different properties.

• Provide practical guidance to other maintenance personnel and follow up on works in progress.

• Identify when specialist contractors are required and coordinate with them where necessary.

• Work closely with Hotel Managers to resolve maintenance issues with minimal disruption to guests.

• Make sure work is completed safely, properly and to a high standard.

• Manage your workload effectively across the different properties.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in general maintenance, ideally within hotels, hospitality or a similar environment.

• Is hands-on and comfortable carrying out a range of maintenance and repair work.

• Is practical, organised and good at solving problems.

• Can spot what needs doing and takes the initiative to get it sorted.

• Is reliable and able to manage competing priorities.

• Is comfortable working independently while also supporting and guiding others.

• Understands the importance of working professionally around guests and hotel operations.

• Is flexible and willing to work across our different properties when needed.
