Quality Coordinator I

Lewis Press Limited is a certified pharmaceutical packaging supplier operating according to the ISO9001:2015 and PS9000:2016 codes of practice. The facility situated in Hal Far has been specifically designed for its intended purpose and has been operational since 2004.

The company is seeking to recruit a Quality Coordinator I. This person will be primarily responsible for ensuring that the product is of satisfactory quality before being delivered to the client.  This is done by performing in-process or post-process checks of the product.

The following are the duties which the position carries:

• Checking samples retrieved from the production process to ensure an acceptable level of quality before releasing the product to customers.

• Authorising Final Product Releases

• Carry out line clearances and reconciliations at the start and end of production processes to mitigate the risk of product mix-ups.

• Double-check the First OK samples that authorise the start of a production run.

• Double-check in-process samples that authorise the progression to the following process.

• Timely clearance of completed jobs awaiting the final release to avoid backlog accumulation.

• Ensuring the company’s personnel follow good documentation and quality procedures on the factory floor. 

Position requirements:

• Good oral and written communication in English.  Applicants are expected to fill in documents efficiently.

• Good command of standard computer applications

• Ability to multitask and establish priorities to meet deadlines.

Although training will be planned and conducted, previous work experience and educational certificates will be considered an asset.
