Fleet Manager

We are a fast-growing fleet operation managing a large network of food delivery riders and taxi drivers across Malta. We are currently looking for an experienced and hands-on Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of a fleet of 330 motorbikes.

This is a key position for someone who can lead teams, manage fleet operations efficiently, and ensure smooth day-to-day coordination between drivers, mechanics, administration, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of a fleet of 330 motorbikes

• Handle accident cases and coordinate insurance claims from start to finish

• Maintain proper records and documentation for all accident and insurance cases

• Coordinate with insurance companies regarding bike insurance renewals and related matters

• Monitor and manage servicing, repairs, maintenance schedules, and bike availability

• Supervise garage operations and inspect the garage and office daily to ensure smooth operations

• Manage the garage and check bike replacements

• Oversee and support teams consisting of mechanics, fleet administrators, and delivery drivers

• Ensure compliance with Transport Malta procedures, documentation, and forms

• Coordinate with external suppliers, garages, and service providers

• Maintain accurate operational records and reporting using Google Sheets and G Suite tools

Requirements

• Previous experience in fleet management, transport operations, or logistics

• Experience within the same or similar sector is highly preferred

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Good knowledge of Transport Malta forms and procedures

• Experience handling insurance and accident-related processes

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Proficiency in G Suite and Google Sheets

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid driving licence required
