Aviation Technicians

Aeromaritime Mediterranean Limited (ITP Aero) Malta - is an authorized maintenance repair and overhaul centre for the Rolls-Royce Model 250 and RR 300 helicopter gas turbine engines.

We are currently seeking to recruit: Aviation Technicians.

The Aviation Technicians will be reporting to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Rolls-Royce M250 series engine maintenance functions as specified and approved by ITP Aero.

Main Duties:

• Repair and overhaul of gas turbine aircraft engines, modules, components and accessories in compliance with OEM-approved data, established company standards and part-145 airworthiness regulatory requirements.

• Perform technical troubleshooting using mechanical ability and sound product knowledge.

• Cross-train in other complementary skills as needed to support maintenance requirements.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• BTEC National Diploma in Aerospace Engineering or HTD / OTD / National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Technical qualification / Journeyman’s Certificate or equivalent.

• Experience, preferably as a Technician in an aviation environment.

• Basic knowledge of gas turbine engines / internal combustion engines.

• High degree of mechanical aptitude, accuracy and precision.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good computer skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment to achieve common goals.

• All the necessary training will be provided.
