Summer Activty Leader

IELS Malta is one of the island’s leading English language schools, welcoming international students from around the world. We are currently seeking energetic and responsible Activity Leaders to join our dynamic Leisure team for the summer season.

As a Summer Activity Leader, you will be responsible for accompanying and guiding groups of teenage students (aged 12–17) on a wide range of cultural, social, and leisure activities around Malta. These include beach outings, parties, educational excursions, sports evenings, and visits to iconic historical sites such as Valletta, Mdina, and Birgu. Applicants must be in possession of EU working documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise groups of international students during scheduled activities and excursions

• Represent IELS Malta with enthusiasm, professionalism, and responsibility at all times

• Ensure the safety, enjoyment, and wellbeing of all students in your care

• Engage students with a fun, friendly, and positive attitude

• Communicate clearly and effectively in English

• Respond quickly and calmly to any unexpected situations

• Encourage student participation and maintain high levels of group morale

• Work closely with the Leisure Coordinator and other team members

Requirements:

• A high level of spoken English

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Outgoing, fun, and responsible personality

• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Previous experience working with teenagers or in a similar role is considered an asset

• Knowledge of Malta’s cultural and historical sites is a bonus
