Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR-related functions within the company, including recruitment, training and development, performance management, and employee relations. This role also involves supporting the COO in policy development, legislative compliance, and health and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will foster a positive workplace culture and ensure alignment between HR practices and the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and coordinate HR activities across all departments to enhance employee productivity, engagement, and organisational growth.

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR strategies, policies, and programs across key areas such as manpower planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and process engagements to foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture aligned with company values.

  • Draft, maintain, and regularly update personnel policies and the employee handbook to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

  • Advise and support the senior management team in the effective implementation of company policies, HR best practices, and workforce planning strategies.

  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning to job design, advertising, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.

  • Manage the performance appraisal process, identifying training needs and supporting professional development plans to cultivate internal talent pipelines.

  • Coordinate and administer compensation, benefits, and incentive programs to attract, motivate, and retain high-performing employees.

  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable employment laws and HR best practices; review and update policies as necessary.

  • Lead HR projects and change initiatives, including organisational restructures, process improvements, and HR technology upgrades.

  • Report HR metrics and analytics to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Previous HR experience is essential.

  • Reliable, well-organised, discreet, and eager to grow within the company.
