We are seeking to recruit a reliable and responsible Driver and Stores Attendant to join our team and support our operations by handling, collecting and delivering goods and assisting our store operations as needed. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a valid driving license C, the ability to communicate well in English, confident in using a GPS system and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver and collect goods, materials, and documents as required.

  • Load and unload raw materials and finished goods manually or using lifting equipment.

  • Check goods during loading and unloading and report any damages or discrepancies.

  • Unpack incoming goods and prepare outgoing goods for dispatch.

  • Store and stack materials safely in the correct locations.

  • Supply materials to production and issue requisitions when required.

  • Measure and record returned materials and report them to the Storekeeper.

  • Maintain the warehouse, stores, pallet areas, and driveways clean and organised.

  • Ensure company vehicles and related equipment are kept clean, in good condition, safe, and in proper working order at all times.

  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, damages, or stock issues immediately.

  • Assist with stock counts and inventory checks when required.

  • Follow the company's Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Employer or immediate superior.

Requirements and Competencies

  • Valid driving licence, preferably Category C, Category C1, is mandatory minimum.

  • Good command of English (spoken, reading, and writing).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to use GPS devices or Google Maps for navigation.

  • Honest, reliable, and responsible attitude.
