Our client, a leading FinTech organisation specialising in regulatory reporting solutions and trusted by the majority of credit and financial institutions in Malta, is seeking to recruit a – IT Business Services Manager . This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader who thrives on operational excellence and business growth. You’ll be at the helm of a growing Managed Services division, playing a key role in shaping its direction. Working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and the sales department, you’ll drive service delivery, identify new opportunities, and contribute to long-term success. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Managed Services Business Unit, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds SLAs and client expectations.

  • Implement and drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, performance, and service quality.

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and secure new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.

  • Lead or support the development of customised solutions for clients and manage proposal preparation and presentations.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Managed Services professionals. Monitor financial performance and ensure alignment with business targets. Stay abreast of market trends and innovations to keep our services competitive and forward-thinking.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or proven 5 year+ experience in a managerial role within the managed services industry or a related field.

  • Strong operational management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality services.

  • Excellent business development skills, with the ability to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and motivating team members.

  • Financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues effectively.

Candidates must be in Malta with valid work visa.
