Assistant Appliance Technician

We are looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Assistant Appliance Technician to support our service technicians with appliance service calls. The successful candidate will assist with diagnostics, safely handle appliances and provide excellent customer service. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist senior technicians during appliance service calls. 

• Assist with fault diagnosis and testing of domestic appliances under supervision.

• Safely move and handle domestic appliances. 

• Follow company policies and health and safety procedures. 

• Provide courteous and professional customer service. 

• Perform other duties as assigned by management. 

Requirements 

• Valid driving licence (required). 

• Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge is an advantage. 

• Previous experience in a technical role is preferred but not essential.

• Good communication and teamwork skills. 

• Physically fit and able to lift and move appliances. 

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn. 

• Professional attitude and strong work ethic. 

Qualifications 

• Secondary school education or equivalent. 

• Technical training or certification is an advantage but not essential.
