Furniture Sales & Design Consultant

Ferraracasa is seeking a motivated and design-oriented Furniture Sales and Design Consultant to join our growing showroom team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about interiors, customer interaction, and helping clients transform their spaces into functional and beautifully designed homes.

As a family-run company with over 50 years of experience in the furniture industry, we pride ourselves on delivering professional guidance, quality products, and a personalised customer experience from consultation through installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients into the showroom and provide professional, personalised assistance.

• Understand customer needs, lifestyles, and budgets to recommend suitable furniture and interior solutions.

• Prepare furniture layouts, design concepts, and curated product selections tailored to each client.

• Create quotations, follow up on leads, and confidently manage the sales process from consultation to closing.

• Maintain strong product knowledge across kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, dining collections, and custom solutions.

• Stay updated with interior trends, finishes, materials, and design concepts.

• Ensure the showroom remains organised, inspiring, and presentation-ready at all times.

• Coordinate with suppliers, installers, and logistics teams when required.

• Contribute positively towards showroom targets, teamwork, and overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture sales, interior design consultation, retail sales, or a related customer-focused role.

• Strong eye for design, colour coordination, materials, and space planning.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.

• Confidence in understanding client requirements and proposing creative yet practical solutions.

• Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing within a team environment.

• Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to grow within the company.

• Experience with design software or furniture planning tools will be considered an asset.
