Client Accounting Manager

FB Accountants & Advisors is a rapidly growing accountancy firm located in Attard. We provide accounting, taxation, and advisory services to small and medium businesses in Malta. Our aim is to offer a comprehensive range of services to our clients to assist in their growth and development.

Role Description

Due to expanding operations, we are seeking a full-time, on-site Client Accounting Manager to oversee client accounting operations. The Client Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, supervising the Accounting team, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The role involves direct client interaction, workflow management, staff mentoring, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Previous experience in a professional accounting role is required, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, VAT, and financial statement preparation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

• Experience with accounting software such as Xero or Shireburn SFM is considered an advantage

• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• A university degree or ACCA qualification in Accounting, or near completion of such studies.
