An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for the post of Sea and Air Operations Clerk with Express Group, Malta’s leading transport and total logistics operator and the authorised distributor for Hammer Maskin, and Clark Fork Lifters.

The Sea and Air Operations Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and assisting in the sales, planning of sea and air freight shipments, ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods. This role involves managing the entire shipping process, from selecting the best routes and carriers to handling documentation and ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.

The selected candidate must: 

• An A' level standard of education or a Diploma in Management and/or Logistics and Transportation Management is preferred.

• Applicants must be proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Candidate must have excellent communication skills, a mature approach, command and presence over the phone and experience in dealing with multi-nationals and delegating work under high pressure and tight deliverables.

• Previous experience in shipping and logistics or a similar role would be considered an added benefit.

• Candidates must be capable of working with own initiative, dealing in situations of high responsibility.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Demonstrate strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

• Willing to further training and obtaining certificates in regard to Airfreight in General and furthering knowledge in Sea freight procedures.

• To be familiar with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and regulations specific to pharmaceutical logistics.
