Housekeeper

The Role  

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join our team in our care homes located in both Malta and Gozo. The selected candidate will be a key contributor to our operations, ensuring that our facilities are consistently clean, well-maintained, and in full alignment with the company’s quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, assigning duties to team members.

• Conduct monthly stock takes and generate necessary reports. 

• Manage requisition orders within budgetary constraints. 

• Ensure uniform compliance and communicate uniform needs. 

• Train and monitor new recruits, conducting spot checks for cleanliness. 

• Supervise laundry and domestic operations, reporting faults promptly. 

• Handle staff rosters and payroll-related reports. 

• Assist in laundry operations as required. 

• Manage overall stock and storekeeping. 

• Attend meetings and liaise with the Facility Manager on departmental requirements.

• Encourage staff participation in relevant training programs. 

Skills and Requirements:  

• Proven experience in housekeeping supervision. 

• Strong organisational and leadership skills. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 

• Ability to manage budgets and adhere to financial constraints. 

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. 

• Flexibility to assist in various departmental operations. 

• Proficient in using relevant software for reporting and communication.
