Job Summary

An Accounts and Procurement Clerk is responsible for supporting both the financial and purchasing operations of Carerise Ltd. This position involves administrative and clerical tasks related to managing invoices, reconciling accounts, processing purchase orders, and assisting with supplier management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Financial support: Responsibilities include daily reconciliations, processing invoices, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable

  • Procurement process management: Handling of tasks from acquiring quotes and preparing purchase orders to tracking deliveries and monitoring inventory

  • Record keeping: Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, inventory, and supplier contracts 

  • Procurement and purchasing: Placing orders with suppliers, tracking deliveries, and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages.

  • Supplier interaction: The role often involves communicating with suppliers, verifying orders, and ensuring timely deliveries

  • Software utilisation: Proficiency in accounting software and inventory control systems is typically required for inputting data and managing records

  • Accounts payable and invoice management: Inputting supplier invoices, verifying their accuracy against purchase orders (PO), and processing payments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous work experience in a similar combined role or in Purchasing / Accounting is considered an asset.

  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and familiarity with accounting software.

  • Soft skills: Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work in a team.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English.

  • Qualifications: Advanced level in Accounting or equivalent
