Customer Experience Officer

The role 

A vacancy has arisen in our Front Office department for the post of Customer Experience Officer on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate would need to have effective communication skills and be familiar with front office and office duties. 

Main responsibilities include

• Welcoming and checking-in and checking-out guests.

• Preparing documents prior check-in; including key preparation, booklet with T&Cs and Inventory list.

• Handing out documents to new arrivals and giving a welcome talk (check-in paperwork and follow-up).

• Collecting any pending balance, deposits and Eco Tax.

• Following up on missed deposits / payments / eco tax – issuing reminders when necessary. 

• Logging and following up on maintenance and housekeeping issues. 

• Monitoring the email inbox and Hello inbox and actioning emails as needed.

• Refunding damage deposits, including the collection of bank details.

• Daily reporting of day-to-day maintenance in student accommodation and car park. 

• Following all health and safety regulations. 

• Adhering to company policies and legal regulations.

• Other ad-hoc reporting as may be required. 

Skills and requirements

• Have one (1) year of experience in a hotel environment would be considered an asset.

• Organisational skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English.

• Able to build customer relationships and ensure good communication.
