Procurement Officer

Role Description

This is a full-time Procurement Officer role based in Qormi. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sourcing and purchasing of products to ensure the business achieves the right balance of value, quality, and operational efficiency.

The role will primarily focus on fashion-related categories while also providing exposure to other areas, including FMCG and confectionery. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, the successful candidate will assist in product selection, monitor stock levels, and support purchasing decisions that contribute to the overall success of the business.

Key Requirements

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, trends, and inventory levels to support range building and optimal purchasing decisions.

• Ability to understand and respond to fashion market trends with a view to influencing future product selections.

• Proactive team player with strong attention to detail.

Key Skills and Experience

• Strong interest in procurement, retail, and supplier performance (an interest in fashion will be considered an asset).

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Proactive attitude, results-driven mindset, and willingness to learn.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Previous experience in buying, merchandising, or procurement-related roles will be considered an asset.
