CE Installations has over 160 multi-cultural employees, and due to recent growth, the company is seeking to recruit a Head of Quantity Surveying to join our dynamic team.

Plumbers Group leaders and Plumbers Helpers

We are looking for experienced Plumbers to undertake a variety of tasks relating to plumbing works in domestic and commercial outlets.

Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, plumbers must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidates must also be experienced in different kinds of tools such as small tools, electrical testing instruments, heavy tools such as Biers, Jiggers and wall chasers, and other tools that will help on the day-to-day work.

Main duties of the plumbers will be as follows

• Set out plumbing outlets with the help of a technician.

• Be able to read and develop a drawing (important to understand plumbing schematics and be familiar with pipe sizing standards).

• Carry out the first fixes in a professional way whilst taking care and consideration of other works.

• Be able to install fittings (sanitary) as per the supplier’s technical requirements.

• Carry out preliminary pressure testing using proprietary equipment.

• Install Main equipment and fittings such as Pumps, water tanks, sanitary (both recessed and surface) and sanitary accessories in a professional and efficient manner.

• Be able to order necessary materials without wastage through the site coordinator in advance.

• Help the site coordinator to complete the works in a timely manner.

Job skills and requirements

• Logic: Plumbers need to be able to look at plumbing drawings and scan them for issues, making sure that they work before being installed.

• Quality: Plumbers need to be able to carry out of the works to a very detailed standard, especially for all the first fixes.

• Manual Dexterity: Working with different kinds of pipework (PPR, PVC, PE etc), using hand tools and handling small components requires manual dexterity.

Experience

• Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar position.

Education and training

• Clean police conduct certificate (must be presented).
