About the Role

As a Risk and Fraud Specialist, you play a key role in protecting our organisation and players from risks, fraud, and abuse. You work closely with the Compliance Officer and the wider team to monitor processes, perform analyses, and implement improvements that contribute to a safe and transparent gaming environment.

You are not only involved in conducting risk and fraud checks but also in proactively identifying trends, training colleagues, and improving internal procedures. You have a keen eye for detail, think analytically, and act decisively when faced with suspicious activities.

You live in Malta, the heart of the iGaming world, allowing you to be close to the international iGaming community. Experience in the iGaming industry is a strong advantage.

What You’ll Do

• Perform daily fraud and risk checks on player activity, transactions, and accounts.

• Review, perform, and QA KYC checks.

• Analyse suspicious patterns, identify risks, and escalate when necessary.

• Train and support colleagues in recognising fraud and risky behaviour.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Payments, and Customer Support to improve processes.

• Report to the Compliance Officer on trends, findings, and process improvements.

• Contribute to the development of internal risk and fraud processes and the implementation of best practices.

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of experience in a role as Risk, Fraud, or Compliance Specialist / Analyst, preferably within iGaming.

• Excellent knowledge of KYC procedures, fraud checks, and risk management.

• Fluent in Dutch (required) and good command of English.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with risk tools and systems.

• Proactive and trustworthy work attitude — you think ahead and ask the right questions.

• Living in Malta or willing to relocate.
