Acumum a legal, corporate and fiduciary group of firms located in Malta has an open position for a Lawyer.

Duties and responsibilities
The responsibilities attributed to the role, include but are not limited to:
Providing support in drafting, reviewing, and updating of contracts and agreements, and internal policies
Assisting in the preparation of statutory documents for the incorporation of new entities
Supporting in the preparation of statutory documents for the transferring shares between existing shareholders or new investors
Being involved in the filing of statutory documents to maintain regulatory compliance
Providing assistance identifying legal risks and providing recommendations to mitigate risks, including implementing policies and procedures to enhance legal compliance and risk management
Maintaining a good understanding of legal developments, trends, and best practices in corporate law and other relevant areas of law through continuing education and professional development activities
Assisting with issues relating to Immigration Law and Compliance procedures and requirements
Liaising with clients, professional advisors and regulatory bodies
Assisting clients in company incorporation and maintenance, company structuring and restructuring
Conducting legal research on various points of law and providing consolidated legal opinions on queries
Experience, knowledge and skills
A minimum of 3 years experience
Experience in working in one or more of the following areas: corporate, maritime law, international taxation, or international business
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must - other languages are considered an asset
Strong organisational skills and ability to perform diligently under pressure Exposure to working with international clients involved in a wide array of industries
Education
Fully qualified with a degree in Law
Working time
Our core hours are Monday through Friday, starting time from 09:00 till 17:30, 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break daily and we are open to flexible and hybrid working.
