Lawyer

Duties and responsibilities

The responsibilities attributed to the role, include but are not limited to:

• Providing support in drafting, reviewing, and updating of contracts and agreements, and internal policies

• Assisting in the preparation of statutory documents for the incorporation of new entities

• Supporting in the preparation of statutory documents for the transferring shares between existing shareholders or new investors

• Being involved in the filing of statutory documents to maintain regulatory compliance

• Providing assistance identifying legal risks and providing recommendations to mitigate risks, including implementing policies and procedures to enhance legal compliance and risk management

• Maintaining a good understanding of legal developments, trends, and best practices in corporate law and other relevant areas of law through continuing education and professional development activities

• Assisting with issues relating to Immigration Law and Compliance procedures and requirements

• Liaising with clients, professional advisors and regulatory bodies

• Assisting clients in company incorporation and maintenance, company structuring and restructuring

• Conducting legal research on various points of law and providing consolidated legal opinions on queries

Experience, knowledge and skills

• A minimum of 3 years experience

• Experience in working in one or more of the following areas: corporate, maritime law, international taxation, or international business

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must - other languages are considered an asset

• Strong organisational skills and ability to perform diligently under pressure Exposure to working with international clients involved in a wide array of industries

Education

• Fully qualified with a degree in Law

Working time

Our core hours are Monday through Friday, starting time from 09:00 till 17:30, 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break daily and we are open to flexible and hybrid working.
