Warehouse & Delivery Assistant

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and organised Warehouse and Delivery Assistant to support our warehouse and logistics function and help ensure our daily operations run smoothly.

Working closely with the Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, coordinating deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records, while helping to ensure orders are prepared and dispatched efficiently.

• Support the Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator with the day-to-day running of the warehouse and delivery operations.

• Assist with planning delivery schedules and coordinating incoming stock.

• Help ensure customer orders are picked, prepared and dispatched accurately and on time.

• Assist with monitoring stock levels, maintaining inventory records and carrying out stock counts.

• Carry out deliveries and collections as directed, checking vehicles before and after use and handling goods carefully.

• Help maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.

• Support compliance with health and safety procedures, licences and food handling requirements.

• Assist in resolving routine warehouse and delivery queries, escalating issues where necessary.

• Operate warehouse equipment, where authorised, and support warehouse and delivery activities as required.

• Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned in line with business requirements.

To thrive in this role, we'd love to see

• A valid Category B driving licence.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.

• Good organisational and time management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive, reliable and hands-on approach to work.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.

• A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.

You'll stand out even more if you have

• A Category C driving licence.

• A valid forklift licence or experience operating warehouse equipment.

• A food handling licence or certification.

• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
