The 1926 Collection is currently comprised of 2 luxury properties situated in Sliema and Valletta. The group is proud to be expanding and will soon welcome an additional 2 properties, each one with its own distinct identity.

1926 Collection is currently seeking passionate candidates who strive to deliver by providing an upscale guest experience.

The selected candidate will be a self-confident, service-oriented and very well organised professional who portrays an image of efficiency. The selected individual will make every effort to meet guests’ needs and will ensure that all comments, requests and complaints are actioned promptly.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Answering incoming and outgoing calls in a timely and professional manner

  • Responding to all guest queries received via the hotel application, chat and booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com; Expedia)

  • Assisting with replying to guest reviews as required

  • Updating guest profiles records

  • Performing courtesy calls and keeping records of all guest feedback

  • Assisting the Reservations and Hospitality departments as required

  • Processing new bookings received the day before

  • Forwarding any guest requests to respective departments


The potential candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years proven work experience in a customer-centric role

  • An excellent command of the English language

  • Proficiency in German, French and/ or Italian will be considered an asset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience using the Opera system will be considered an asset

  • A professional attitude and appearance

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Excellent multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks

  • Positivity and a guest-centric approach

  • Team player

  • Approachable, welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic

  • Patient and empathetic

  • Self-motivated and responsible

  • Flexible, punctual, organised and efficient

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends on a shift basis
