Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join the team.

Pharmacy Assistants are essential to the proper functioning of a pharmacy. They work with other members of the team and are responsible for a wide variety of tasks, both with customers and directly with the pharmacist.

Duties include:

• Greeting customers and answering their questions about products and services;


• Maintaining inventory levels;


• Organizing and restocking shelves;


• Providing advice about over-the-counter medications;


• Operating the point of sale.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Maltese and English;


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;


• Excellent customer service skills;


• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and common medications;


• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols;


• Be a team player and willing to learn;


• Punctuality.

Previous experience in a similar position is considered an asset.
