The IT Manager oversees the organization’s information technology strategy, ensuring that all IT systems and services meet the needs of the business. This role involves being the sole reference for all IT issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring data security and compliance. The IT Manager collaborates with other departments to align technology with business goals and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT policies and best practices.

  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

  • Ensure the reliability and security of network infrastructure, servers, and databases.

  • Plan and implement system upgrades and migrations.

  • Develop and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data and systems.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.

  • Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet time, budget, and quality objectives.

  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and solutions.

  • Prepare project documentation, including reports and presentations.

  • Oversee helpdesk operations to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff as needed.

  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements.

  • Assess current and emerging technologies to improve business processes.

  • Develop long-term IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.

  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is an asset.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.

  • Certification in Microsoft 365 or any other related fields.
