The Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the company’s buildings and ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to repair requests, and conducting preventative maintenance to avoid potential issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure that all maintenance and repair work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and execute a preventative maintenance schedule to reduce the likelihood of equipment failure and extend the lifespan of assets.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and resolve issues related to cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, minimizing downtime and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for maintenance supplies and tools, placing orders as needed.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, inspections, and maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs within the facility.
- Coordinating the Maintenance team by delegating tasks, distributing workload effectively, and ensuring high performance across the team to meet facility standards and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certifications or trade school training in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
