As TrioMed continues to expand, the Company is looking to strengthen its Field Service team with the addition of a full-time Field Support Technician.

Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Field Support Technician would be to support clients by installing, commissioning, and servicing high-end medical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • To install and commission new equipment and modalities, as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • To provide preventive maintenance and service support on equipment and modalities assigned.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment and modalities are functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with Field Support Team Leader and Operations team to solve complex issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with equipment and / or systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients or end-users as required.
  • To assist clients and end users in fault finding and problem solving as required.
  • Any other task as assigned by the Field Support Team Leader.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum MQF Level 5 – BTEC extended diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering (or similar qualifications in relevant fields).
  • Be able to manage one’s time and workload efficiently, work on own initiative, whilst at the same time have the ability to work in synergy within a team.
  • Have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Have a positive (can-do) attitude.
  • Be willing to periodically attend online training modules and occasionally participate in training sessions abroad, to ensure up-to-date knowledge of the equipment and modalities as specified by the manufacturer.
  • Be familiar with basic IT concepts and applications.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.

Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
