As TrioMed continues to expand, the Company is looking to strengthen its Field Service team with the addition of a full-time Field Support Engineer.

Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Field Support Engineer would be to support clients by installing, commissioning, and servicing high-end medical equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • To install and commission new equipment and modalities, as per manufacturer’s recommendations.

  • To provide preventive maintenance and service support on equipment and modalities assigned.

  • Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment and modalities are functioning correctly.

  • To install and commission new equipment and modalities, as per manufacturer’s recommendations.

  • Collaborate with Field Support Team Leader and Operations team to solve complex issues.

  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with equipment and / or systems.

  • Provide technical support and training to clients or end-users as required.

  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment, ensuring all are properly stocked for fieldwork.

  • Ensure that all work is completed within established timelines and meets quality standards.

  • Any other task as assigned by the Field Support Team Leader.


Requirements:

  • Have an MQF Level 6 – Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Engineering (or similar qualification in relevant fields).

  • Be able to work on your own initiative while capable of working in synergy within a team.

  • Demonstrate strong time management and workload prioritization skills.

  • Be able to identify (fault-finding) and solve complex technical problems.

  • Have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Have a positive (can-do) attitude.

  • Be willing to periodically attend online training modules and occasionally participate in training sessions abroad, to ensure up-to-date knowledge of the equipment and modalities as specified by the manufacturer.

  • Previous exposure to IT would be considered as an asset.

  • Have a valid driver’s license.

  • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
