Bartender

Join our dynamic bar team in our new entertainment centre as a Bartender. You'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and assisting in the day-to-day bar operations.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist guests with beverage and food orders, offering recommendations when necessary.


• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, following recipes and customer preferences.


• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for order entry, payment processing, and issuing receipts.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, refrigerators, and equipment.


• Assist in monitoring beverage and supply stock levels, notifying the Duty Manager of shortages or replenishment needs.


• Support stock rotation and check expiration dates to minimize waste and maintain product quality.


• Follow opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and cleaning tasks.


• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal requirements.


• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, escalating issues as needed.


• Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to fulfil food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.


• Basic knowledge of beverage preparation techniques.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling is preferred.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.


• Additional training or certification in bartending or hospitality is a plus.
