Marketing Executive

Smart Supermarket is one of Malta's leading supermarkets with an already established client base. Due to our increased business activity and continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals for the post of Marketing Executive. The selected candidate will be involved in the planning and execution of the marketing and marketing communications operations of the Supermarket. More specifically, he/she will be responsible for the execution of a mix of short-term operational marketing tasks and longer-term marketing strategies.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will eventually been trusted with writing marketing reports and with the market research function, comprising research and analysis of competition, trends and consumer preferences.

Hence, the selected candidate must possess the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly and deliver to deadlines.

The selected candidate will:

• Possess a university degree or equivalent in Marketing or Management.


• Preferably, have previous experience in a Marketing Executive position or equivalent.


• Previous work experience will give candidates a distinct advantage but is not essential.


• Possess excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.


• Have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.


• Possess a high proficiency in oral and written English and Maltese.


• Be able to work on his/her own initiative with minimal supervision.


• Possess a clean driving license.
