Customer Support & Distribution Specialist

Position Summary
This position forms part of the Customer Support and Distribution and part of the Supply Chain, reporting directly to the Customer Support and Distribution Manager.

The main responsibilities include:

• Analyse and upload customer forecast demand;


• Align customer orders to forecast and query divergences;


• Work on Sales and Operations (S&OP) presentations with customers;


• Responsible for ensuring deliveries on time and in full satisfying customer requirements, entailing coordination with all stakeholders involved including cross-functional departments, business development and customer;


• Define the distribution plan by liaising with production, QA-QC and planning to enable on-time collections;


• Maintain data management: ERP (SAP) system, update the shipment tracker and sales funnel;


• Create shipping documents in preparation for collections;


• Follow up on uncollected orders;


• Create and maintain customers Product and Technical Data Sheets (PDS and TDS).

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Maths and Computing, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry or a related field;


• Previous relevant experience or a combination of qualifications and experience;


• Experience using SAP or other business management software;


• Proficient with Office applications especially with Excel and PowerPoint at Advanced level is essential; Power BI knowledge would be an asset;


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
