We are looking for a candidate who would be supporting the Accounts department in the following tasks:

Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out the following duties:

  • Maintain updated customer records and client files

  • Updating transactions on sage accounting software

  • Preparing reconciliations

  • Maintain established accounting practices and procedures

  • Updating of payroll hours on Dakar software, issuing of payslips and payroll reports on a fortnightly basis

  • Updating employee files

  • Providing efficient administrative support


Job Requirements
The ideal candidate must:

  • Knowledge of Accounting principles and basic accounting procedures

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge with sage accounting software and Dakar payroll software would be considered an asset

  • have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel

  • Be organised

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • Be an effective team player

  • A good salary is being offered to the right applicant based on past experience
