Cleaner

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our Housekeeping team on a full-time basis at Garden View Complex in Swieqi, a self-catering apartment complex.

Position Purpose / Summary
The Cleaner’s responsibility is to ensure that apartments, common areas, and facilities such as gyms, offices, and classrooms are kept clean, tidy and well-maintained to provide a pleasant environment for all residents and staff.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Apartment Cleaning:
  
  
  
  • Clean and sanitize kitchens, including appliances, countertops, and sinks.
  
  
  • Clean and tidy up bedrooms, ensuring bed linens are changed regularly.
  
  
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks.
  
  
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
  
  
  
  


• Common Areas:
  
  
  
  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lounges, and other shared spaces.
  
  
  • Mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows.
  
  
  
  


• Gym Cleaning:
  
  
  
  • Ensure the gym is clean and organized, including floors and mirrors.
  
  
  
  


• Offices and Classrooms:
  
  
  
  • Dust surfaces and clean windows.
  
  
  • Empty trash bins and ensure desks and seating areas are tidy.
  
  
  
  


• Additional Tasks:
  
  
  
  • Report any damages or maintenance issues to the management team.
  
  
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a Cleaner in a similar environment is preferred.


• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.


• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.


• Understanding of health and safety regulations.


• Flexibility to work on weekends or during peak times if required.
