Backend Developer

Rooted Tech Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Backend Developer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer Senior, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our backend systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and project managers to ensure the smooth functioning of our web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C# and .NET Core.


• Collaborate with the development team to design and develop robust back-end systems.


• Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure the high quality and scalability of code.


• Build, maintain, and optimize databases and RESTful APIs.


• Ensure system and data security, scalability, and availability.


• Work closely with DevOps to automate deployment and testing processes.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Back end development.


• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, REST API, MS SQL Server and Micro Services.


• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns and programming skills.


• Experience integrating third-party services and APIs into backend systems.


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science.


• Fluent English, preferably Turkish and German language skills.


• Nice to Have: Javascript, and experience with ReactJS.
