Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for retail? Roosendaal Trading, one of the subsidiary companies of the Bortex Group, is looking for a Retail Manager to lead our team and drive the success of one of our stores. As a Retail Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of operational and commercial excellence, while fostering a positive and productive environment for our staff and customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for organising store operations, ensuring that every aspect of the store runs smoothly. You will have overall responsibility for managing stock levels and preventing losses, making sure the store is always well-stocked and presentable. Your leadership will guide and motivate the staff to achieve their sales goals and as the person responsible for the store you will be handling staff matters on a day-to-day basis with the support of our HR team.
You will also oversee in-store promotional events and displays, working closely with the buying and merchandising teams to ensure these are successful. Budget management and analysing sales and revenue reports will be essential to ensure that budget targets are met, and you will collaborate with the commercial team to make informed business decisions.
We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in a similar role or who has extensive experience in retail and feels ready to take on the responsibility of managing a shop. You will have excellent leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure. A level of education at MQF Level 3 or above is preferred, although extensive experience in retail management can compensate for formal qualifications.
