Job Description
Pillow Spaceframe, a leader in the steel construction industry with over 34 years of experience, is seeking a Factory Foreman to oversee operations at our steel fabrication facility. We are involved in the design and construction of major local and international steel projects, known for our quality, craftsmanship and innovation.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced leader with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the manufacture of steel to manage our factory team and ensure the efficient and high-quality execution of steel fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations in the steel fabrication factory, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Coordinate and liaising with the technical department to ensure that all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Manage a team of workers, including welders and fabricators, providing guidance and direction as needed.
- Monitor the use and maintenance of factory machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all factory operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or production-related issues that arise during fabrication.
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and workforce performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in a steel fabrication and construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, machinery, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
