Panaxia Malta is part of a group of pharmaceutical companies specializing in the Medical Cannabis sector. We are seeking to recruit a Tech transfer senior technician to join our Production department.

The selected candidate will be responsible to:

  • Planning, executing and reporting equipment and infrastructure qualifications.

  • Perform planned preventive maintenance and repair work on production equipment as needed.

  • Perform inspections and report on condition affecting operations and safety.

  • Assist with equipment upkeep as required in line with high safety standards.

  • Maintain and execute on updated calibration, maintenance and qualification schedules. Ensure adherence to schedules.

  • Monitor and supervise maintenance and calibration contractors.

  • Liaise with members from other departments for smooth operation and minimal downtime.


The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a diploma in Engineering or equivalent and ideally also electrical authorization A license.

  • Have at least 3 years experience in a similar role.

  • Have a hands-on approach towards challenges that arise from time to time.

  • Be reliable, efficient, proactive and give exceptional attention to detail.

  • Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.

  • Be computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office applications.

  • Have a team player approach in day-to-day activities.

  • Candidates with prior experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and lean Six Sigma activities will be given a preference.
