IT Systems Administrator

We are currently seeking a professional IT Systems Administrator to join our team.

General overview of responsibilities 

• Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing IT-related equipment at all sites;


• Be able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues (hardware and software);


• Installation and maintenance of telecommunication, security and access control systems / equipment;


• Writing documentation, reports and procedures in order to optimize the activities of the IT department;


• Extensive knowledge of different Windows-based platforms operating systems, Microsoft Suite, Windows Servers, and Microsoft services;


• Perform any other IT-related duties which may be assigned from time to time;


• Perform market research related to IT-related projects


• Perform monitoring and management of IT Servers, services / software under the assigned professional’s responsibility;


• Manage and support the roll-out of new IT applications / equipment;


• Ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams;


• Must be able to work efficiently alone and in a team;


• Must be able to distinguish different colours, read small prints and hear audible sounds;


• Must be self-motivated with a positive approach;


• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment;


• Ability to install, configure and maintain backup and server infrastructure;


• Must have experience in virtualization and maintain the company virtualization solution;


• Research on exploits that may hinder the Company’s infrastructure;


• Any other duties as directed from time to time as instructed by your Superiors;


• Attend all obligatory training as required by the company in order to be able to fulfil the role whilst obtaining the relevant knowledge, skills and techniques.

Eligibility criteria 

• Be in possession of an MQF Level 6 in IT or any same MQF level-related certificates;


• Have previous experience as an IT Systems Administrator or in a similar role.

Moreover, the selected candidate must

• Be proficient in understanding, speaking, and writing in English is required;


• Have a valid and clean driving licence (A copy must be presented with the application) to utilize the company van.
