MRF Supervisor D

We are currently seeking an MRF Supervisor D to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervisor D works under the direct supervision of the Head of Shift and shall supervise personnel under the supervisor’s responsibilities;


• Supervisor D is responsible for the daily production of end products in the specified quantity and quality of the mixed recyclables, and for achieving optimal utilization of plant and machinery;


• Supervisor D will conduct start-up and close-down procedures before and after the shift;


• Supervisor D shall train, coach, and motivate crew personnel. Other responsibilities include: inspecting load-out of materials, ensuring that all work stations are manned and maintained in a clean and orderly manner, verifying that all employees are furnished with appropriate safety apparel and equipment, ensuring that plant is cleaned thoroughly at the end of operations, supervise personnel during all aspects of operations and compiling all reports associated with administration; example: sorting, loading of material, pre-filtering, baling etc.) and compiling all reports associated with administration;


• Supervisor D shall substitute subordinates when required;


• Supervisor D shall be willing to receive training on mobile equipment;


• Supervisor D shall substitute subordinates when required;


• Attend all obligatory training as required by the company in order to be able to fulfil the role whilst obtaining the relevant knowledge, skills and techniques;


• To perform other related duties as instructed by the Head of Shifts or Plant Engineer.

Eligibility Criteria
The selected candidates should be:

• Must have a minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role;


• Must be in possession of a school leaving certificate (A copy must be presented with application);


• Must have basic IT literacy skills (specifically in Excel and Word) (A simple test will be carried out during the interview);


• Must have basic written skills in both oral and written Maltese and English.
