Junior Accountant

Opes Limited is a boutique accountancy, audit and corporate service provider founded in 2015.

We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our growing team as a Junior Accountant.

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties shall include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for a portfolio of bookkeeping clients


• Closing of accounts


• Liaising with clients


• Assisting with VAT returns and other reporting


• Assisting junior and senior colleagues


• Other day-to-day office duties as deemed necessary

Skills and Requirements
The right candidate should:

• Have a minimum A’ level standard in Accountancy or in the initial stages of ACCA qualification


• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position


• Able to use MS Office (particularly MS Excel)


• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English


• Be able to work within a team but also on own initiative

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel and previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
