As a Senior Content Writer, you’ll bring your passion for writing and keen business acumen to an incredible Marketing team. You’ll collaborate with multiple stakeholders to produce engaging content in various formats, injecting a mix of mind-melting creative flair and business intelligence to deliver sentences that sing with sense. Experience in Brand Marketing is a must to understand our Brand Tone and Brand Personality. Being able to profile a reader and an audience is the first step to producing resonating content.

Role’s location: Malta (You must be eligible to work in Malta).

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce well-researched and engaging content for online publication and print.
  • Organise writing schedules to complete content drafts or finished projects within deadlines.
  • Utilise industry best practices and gain familiarity with the organisation’s mission to inspire ideas and content.
  • Follow an editorial calendar and collaborate with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Develop content for multiple platforms, such as websites, social media, email marketing, product descriptions, sales presentations, videos, blogs, and vlogs.
  • Create compelling content that will capture the attention of our target audience and enhance SEO.
  • Edit and polish existing content to improve readability.
  • Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Use Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategies in writing to maximise our website’s online visibility in search results.
  • Build interpersonal relationships with team members across the company and produce work to the satisfaction of all involved teams.

Key requirements:

  • A proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang, technical jargon, and expressions.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • A can-do attitude, readily open to receive constructive criticism of content and make the necessary amendments.
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Ability and desire to constantly improve written work to enhance reader engagement and content reach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously – being agile is an absolute necessity.
  • Strict adherence to the style guides and brand guidelines.
  • Good time management skills, including prioritising, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency using Hubspot will be considered an asset.
  • Experience in a similar role within the iGaming industry would be a plus.
