Logistics Clerk

As a Logistics Clerk at Nestlé Malta, you will ensure the smooth running of the inbound and costification procedures whilst maintaining administration and ensuring that proper records are maintained. You’ll provide support in the Supply Planning area and ensure the optimization of inventory material objectives.

We are looking for somebody who has:

• Good communication skills – written and spoken Maltese and English are a priority.


• Computer literacy.


• Ability to work independently while being a team player to achieve common goals.


• Curiosity and willingness to learn.


• Experience in logistics commercial environments and/or import operations would be considered a plus.

To give them the following tasks:

• Ensure inbound and internal flows are properly maintained in order to continuously guarantee timely order preparation.


• Follow up shipments, ensure release of documents, define weekly unloading schedule according to urgency and communicate actively to interested parties.


• Prioritise and optimise inbound taking into account transportation constraints and costs.


• Check and provide necessary documentation on time for customs clearance.


• Creation of purchase orders, checking rates and costification process.


• Updating material master data related to inbound, quality, and warehouse.


• Processing warehouse checks on stock arriving from co-packers and affiliates.
