Our Operations department at Multitude Bank is actively seeking a talented and dedicated IT Governance Officer to join our dynamic team in Malta. In this role, you will ensure the bank’s IT operations align with regulatory standards, oversee service quality, and support our business continuity and disaster recovery efforts. Join us to help drive our IT strategy and maintain excellence in our technological and operational performance.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and oversee ICT compliance for ongoing audits and regulatory examinations.

  • Stay updated on ICT regulatory developments such as DORA, the NIS 2 Directive, and national authority requirements, ensuring these are reflected in the bank’s operations.

  • Define and monitor IT operational performance metrics within outsourcing agreements.

  • Manage the bank's IT policies and procedures to align with its overall strategy.

  • Conduct assessments for new product approval, procurement, and outsourcing arrangements.

  • Develop, test, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

  • Oversee incident and problem management processes, driving continual improvement initiatives.

  • Manage and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with service providers.

  • Ensure vendor compliance with the bank's ICT standards and regulatory expectations.

  • Collaborate with the Head of ICT and ICT Governance to align IT strategies with the bank's overall vision.

  • Support the implementation of tools like the new Vendor Management System (Formalise) to enhance governance capabilities.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree in a relevant IT field (MQF Level 5 or 6) is preferred.

  • Experience in IT governance, audits, or ICT regulatory compliance within the banking sector.

  • Understanding of ICT risk management, systems architecture, and data management.

  • Familiarity with the DORA framework and other banking regulatory requirements.
