Quality Supervisor

Our client, Bare Sports, a trusted representative of Huish Outdoors, is seeking to recruit a Quality Supervisor to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Quality and Engineering Manager and the Group Quality Manager, the Quality Supervisor will oversee all quality-related aspects to ensure Huish Outdoors products consistently meet the company’s high standards and specifications.

As the Quality Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver on KPIs for the Quality team, including inspection turnaround times, accuracy, and quality assurance.


• Conduct and document material wash tests for both current and new development materials.


• Inspect incoming raw materials and finished goods to confirm specifications through visual and quality measurement tests, approving or rejecting shipments based on results.


• Record and report inspection results within the Quality Management system.


• Support recall and rework projects, inspecting items for specification compliance and resale eligibility.


• Manage Non-Conforming Material Reporting (NCMR).


• Collaborate with the Q&E Manager to develop inspection plans.


• Coordinate spare parts ordering for production machines with the Maintenance team.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A diploma in a technical field (preferred).


• Knowledge of ISO certification or experience as an ISO-certified auditor (an asset).


• Fluency in English and Maltese, with strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exceptional organizational skills.


• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to solve strategic problems effectively in dynamic situations.
