MGR Human Resources Ltd, with a temporary employment agency license in Malta No. 249-2024, member of MAP S.Platis Group of Companies, is a leading, broad HR Consulting, Training, Recruitment and Temporary Placements Agency. We are looking to hire a Human Resources Administrator / RES (Interim Support) for the European Union Agency for Asylum to be based in Malta.

The position
The successful candidate will work on a secondment basis for the awarded contract for the Provision of Interim Services to the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA). EUAA is an EU Regulatory Agency headquartered in Malta whose mandate is to strengthen EU Member States’ practical cooperation on asylum, to support Member States whose asylum systems are under particular pressure and to enhance the implementation of the Common European Asylum System.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Recruitment Sector on all types of selection procedure for statutory staff, as well for non-statutory staff positions such as trainees and Seconded National Expert (SNE).

  • Manage the publication and dissemination of vacancy notices, support in performing eligibility screening of applications, draft documents, minutes, routing sleep and prepare dossiers for the selection committee members.

  • Schedule meetings, organize interviews and written tests, draft invitation letters for candidates, draft formal documents, archive files both electronic and paper version.

  • Update databases and excel monitoring tables and ensure that the information is kept up-to-date and readily accessible by the full team at all times.

  • Launch the onboarding process for newcomers and initiate the process of their reimbursement, in relation to travels and accommodations linked to onsite interviews.

  • Organize the pre-recruitment medical visits for candidates and initiate the process of their reimbursement, in relation to travels and accommodations linked to the medical checks required.

  • Participate in the implementation of HR strategic goals and initiatives.

  • Provide assistance with HR projects, processes and programmes, as well as associated communication and change management strategies.

  • Provide assistance with the collection, organisation, analysis and synthesization of qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and provide excellent customer-oriented service.

  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as external service providers, EPSO, EU medical services, and/or other EU institutions / agencies in relation to the area of responsibilities.


Essential criteria

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree.

  • Professional experience in human resources management, preferably in selection and recruitment.

  • Experience in providing customer service.

  • Effective written and spoken communication skills in English (B2 level according to Common European Framework of Reference for language skills), the working language of the EUAA.

Remuneration
The position falls in hierarchical Category IV and the associated salary is €44,543.88 gross annually in twelve monthly installments.
