We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team. As a key member of our business reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial reporting, and supporting the Head of Finance to ensure the smooth operation of our Finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including sales and purchases invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Data entry: Input and update financial data into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Accounts payable / receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts, track outstanding balances and reconcile to supplier statements
  • Bank reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements with financial records to ensure consistency.
  • Payroll assistance: Support the preparation and processing of payroll, including tracking employee hours and deductions.
  • Financial reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, annual financial reports. and assisting with preparation of projections and budgets
  • Expense tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Administrative support: Provide general administrative support related to finance, such as filing and document management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a small business environment.
